Boy oh boy is this a great guitar. The 16 size guitar in rosewood and cedar is a stunner. Not only is it beautiful to look at with the rich look of red cedar and abalone and rosewood binding but the bone nut and saddle and the stiffer vintage gold 510 tuners make for more projection, volume, sustain and harmonic overtones. Taylor 714-CE - Custom - Cedar
This lovely guitar is a rosewood and western red cedar Taylor cutaway with Expression System pickup. It is a custom guitar with cedar top, bone nut and saddle and upgraded Gotoh 510 "R Taylor" tuners. Taylor does cedar top guitars as well as anyone and some think cedar topped guitars are the best instruments they make (and I am one of those people). A bone nut and saddle improve the instrument's voice significantly with more volume, sustain and harmonic overtones. Anyway, if you are a Taylor guy these customs are the "good stuff".
