UJC Electronics, ULTRASOUND Amplifier's parent company, specializes in contract electronic assembly work. Electronics manufacturer, UJC Electronics has been in existence since 1985, and has produced a diverse range of electronic parts including smoke detectors, pest control devices, digital recording devices and LED lighting systems just to name a few. Their corporate headquarters are located in Des Moines, Iowa.

Engineer Greg Farres, designer of the ULTRASOUND Amplifiers product line, has been involved in the sound amplification business for over 20 years. In 1991, when he joined UJC Electronics, his unique expertise of guitar amplifier circuitry inspired the first ULTRASOUND Amp, the AG-50.

ULTRASOUND saw a need in the acoustic amplification market - to produce an amplifier that would replicate the exact sound of the guitar. This was accomplished through hours of fine tuning the Amp's circuitry and testing hundreds of different speaker combinations in order to achieve the transparent acoustic tone ULTRASOUND Amplifiers are known for.

Today ULTRASOUND Amplifiers is focused on making the truest sounding amp in the acoustic amplification market. When true acoustic tone makes a difference, our difference is transparent.
