Larrivee guitars have been built by Jean Larrivee for over thirty-five years in Vancouver, British Columbia. From the earliest years, Larrivee's approach to building guitars has always reflected a union of old world craftsmanship and new world technology. In his quest for perfect tone and physical beauty, Larrivee constructs his instruments from naturally aged woods from the Northwest and around the world. Larrivee is dedicated to using the best woods possible for his guitars. Larrivee guitars are offered in a variety of styles. Our favorite is his own L-body style, which combines the best of European classical and modern steel-string styles. This guitar has a delicate, clean and highly balanced sound.
