If you don't know about Huss & Dalton guitars, you don't know anything because these guys make great world class instruments. Huss and Dalton started out building banjos for Stelling for about nine years. Jeff Huss built his first guitar there on nights and weekends. After Geoff Stelling heard Huss' guitar, he wanted one. Huss built him a guitar. Later, a customer heard Geoff's guitar and wanted one. This happened again and again, and soon Huss was building guitars for Stelling. Then he decided to build them for himself, so he left Stelling and set up shop in his garage. Huss and Dalton currently has about 15 different models with many options for customization available.
All Huss and Dalton models are topped with AAA grade woods. They are braced with Appalachian Red Spruce, and their necks employ a steel-reinforced truss rod. Each Huss and Dalton model has a honduran rosewood bridge plaltes, ebony fretboard, bone nut and fully compensated 1/8" bone saddle. String scales are individually compensated for correct intonation, and most models also have a 25" radius top for structural integrity and a boost to the midrange.
They make some of the best D's, OO's, and traditional OM's. We obsess on the TRDA's, our custom OO's and OM's from Huss & Dalton. We try to order alot of unique, custom guitars from them and they always come through with a great instrument.
