Gold Tone and Beard teamed up for this instrument which has a Beard spider and spun cone but in a less expensive instrument. There isn't anything out there that compares to the Beard Gold Tones at anywhere near the price. They are brilliant and loud, and to us, nothing else in this price range is comparable.
The PB-GRB has a round neck, steel body, vintage 12 fret neck to body joint, Paul Beard cone designed for metal bodies, sunburst mahogany neck and chrome finish.
If you don't want to spend the money for a Beard, these are the next best choice. It comes without a hardshell case, but we like the TKL flat top hardshell cases for them at $79.
