For about the last couple years or so, everything we have received from Martin have been about as good as it gets and the 18's whether the standard, the V or the GE are, in my opinion the best buys on the planet. (A D18?, Yes Martin fans, a D18.) with great sustain, clarity and complexity. Couple these characteristics with a first rate playing feel and you have versatile, world class flatpicking, bluegrass, country music or singer/songwriter guitar. The D-18 is about as simple and traditional as you can get with a rosewood fingerboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle and basic black pickguard.

Features:

  • Mahogany back and sides
  • Sitka spruce top
  • Indian rosewood fingerboard and bridge
  • Bone nut and saddle
  • Martin Grover tuners
  • Black plastic binding
  • 4 ply black and white purfling
  • 25 1/2" scale length
  • 1 11/16" nut width
