After playing a Guild for 25 years or so myself, it was with great sadness that we had to drop Guild as a brand because their guitars had lost their mojo (at least to a Guild fan). Well guess what gang, they are back! This is one of the Tacoma Washington American made new guilds and its just a great guitar and also probably one the best values in the shop. The D-40 Richie Havens Signature is more of a traditional Guild D-40 design as opposed to the Bluegrass Jubilee which is a tortoise shell binding version with Adirondack top. The good part is that it too is loud, woody, bassy, balanced and it's set up for strumming and flatpicking.
