This lovely OM1 cutaway has lighter back and sides with a top voiced for fingerstyle. The result is a more open, warm, woody and complex sounding voice than a standard OM1. Like all Collings OM's, it has great volume up the neck on the treble side and a powerful, round and more complex bass with aloose and silky feel. Lightening the instrument gives the high notes an ethereal, haunting ring when you let the note ring out.
