This is one gorgeous-sounding player's guitar with a very attractive set of Brazilian Rosewood on the back and sides. Actually, a sweet and gorgeous-sounding all-around player's guitar...great with fingers or flatpick. Simply put, it sounds like an old Martin.
There is finish checking on the top, back and sides. Also several repaired cracks on the top and side. And a side jack was removed and plugged. At one point it had a rather large Porter Wagoner-esque pickguard that has since been removed, leaving a shadow on the top. The neck has been recently re-set and the frets are fine.
