All the perfomance guitars we have had built for Winfield National Fingerstyle Champions have been these instruments. Sound, playabiity, dynamics, build quality and aesthetics...simply exquisite. These are built a little lighter and the tops are voiced for fingerstyle and what we have found is pretty much everybody including strummers and light flat pickers like the change. They are loud and initially fundamental and clear with harmonics "blooming" from the instrument an instant later when you let it ring out. Maybe the most important thing musically is the great dynamic range these have. Finally, the lighter build and less stiff Englemann top yields a sweeter, harmonically complex voice and a very high performance "loose" playing feel to the action.
