Here at The Podium, we are big fans of the warm, mid-range forward tone of an all mahogany guitar. Players can expect a dark, throaty punch when digging in; yet there’s also an underlying sweetness in that same register that can complement a single-note line. Visually, Taylor has created a look that evokes an Americana style, starting with a traditional mahogany stain, which gives the guitar a luminous deep-red tint. Tortoise shell binding adds the perfect touch of color harmony, while white purfling and an abalone rosette supply crisp counterpoints.
