The KGC Koa/Engelmann is the first Goodall that we have had made by James and Luke Goodall in their new California home and it was worth the wait because it's a smoking great instrument. It has a lovely brilliant and harmonically complex voice with that complexity throughout its dynamic range and that is what Goodalls have always been known for. It has amazing sustain and a "shimmer" bordering on vibrato when you let it ring out. Engelmann is one of the most beautiful and harmonically complex of all spruces and with Goodalls tall thin braces the resulting voice has it all. Anyway this one might be even better than the Hawaii Goodalls although they were world class guitars, too.
