The Lowden F-10C is a great fingerstyle guitar and as simple as its looks are, there is nothing simple about its lovely balanced voice. It is a quintessential fingerstyle guitar with a fast, high performance feel to the action and lyrical, versatile voice. With mahogany back and sides and a Western red cedar top, its voice is clear and articulate but with great resonance and a fine mix of fundamental and overtones. The F-10c is renowned and one of the all time great DADGAD guitars as well. It has near perfect balance dynamically and tonally and the high trebles just ring with bell like complexity. The F-10C has a "reverby" quality about it when you let a note ring out a little. Finally, this instrument is loud and with its great overall balance, necessarily it has a nice big bass and this makes the F-10C a fine strumming guitar as well.
Significant other alert: You will get a lot of requests to "please unplug that thing" even though it doesn't have a pickup.
