This instrument combines two great tonewoods - Hawaiian koa and Sitka spruce. Sitka spruce is known for its fundamental clarity and koa provides a rich and clear tone to its voice. The end result is guitar with a nice, clear balance and a powerful treble with volume up the neck. This beautiful handmade instrument seems like a lot of fine guitar for the money.
