He and Amy Grant could have asked for and received anything they wanted from us but they wanted McPhersons. Ipso facto!
The Maple and Engelmann spruce combination gives this guitar a big bass and a rich, harmonically complex midrange and great volume and clarity all the way up the neck. The treble voice up the neck has a beautiful "chiminess" to it as well. This body size is a grand piano of a guitar but it's also about as versatile as they come. It is great for flatpicking, fingerstyle or strumming.
