After playing a Guild for 25 years or so myself, it was with great sadness that we had to drop guild as a brand because their guitars had lost their mojo (at least to Guild fan). Well guess what gang, They are back! The American made new guilds of which this is one are just great guitars and also are one the best values in the shop. The F-50 is articulate, bassy, balanced, sings up the neck and it plays like silk. I have always loved the look of these Jumbos better than anything else made at any price. The difference between this one and the jumbos of the early 2000's is weight (these are lighter) and harmonic complexity (these have more of it).
