The National Style 2 Tricone is the engraved version of the National Style 2 Tricone, the king of the brass body resophonics. This instrument is a 1999 in nice condiiton with a smudge or two but otherwise in excellent condition with very light but normal playing wear for a well cared for instrument. As with all Nationals and other good resonators, Tricones are very, very loud. They are different from the single cone instruments in that they are less edgy than the single cones and are the most flexible "all around" instruments that National Resophonic Guitars make. Don't just think bottleneck (although they do bottleneck extremely well) as many players use them for flatpicking and fingerstyle in standard tuning. This one has upgraded three on a plate vintage tuners. Having extensively played an original, 1930's Tricone, my opinion is that the new ones are better and by more than a little bit. These instruments can be set up low and still work beautfully with a bottleneck because of their long scale length.

- Nickel plated brass body
- Mahogany neck
- Traditional 3 on a plate tuners
- Ebony fingerboard
- 1.825" nut width
