This instrument is the sweetest voiced OO Hoffman guitar I have ever played....period. Its sweet voice make it the rare small guitar that works well as strumming and flatpicking guitar but of course like all Hoffman OO's its an awsome fingerstyle guitar as well. It's a 12 fret OO cutaway with a shallow OO body depth and deep cutaway. The deep cutaway allows you to play like it was a 14 fret with a modern Martin, Collings or Santa Cruz cutaway but it has the warmth and complexity of a 12 fret guitar. The voice is loud, harmonically complex and is equally beautiful when you dig in or just touch the guitar. The action is as silky and high performance as is possible on great sounding guitar strung with light strings. I found my self playing songs I haven't been able to play for a while they have been too frustrating to get right on other guitars.
This instrument is also just beautiful to look at with Braziilan back and sides and a beautiful German spruce top.
