After playing a Guild for 25 years or so myself, it was with great sadness that we had to drop Guild as a brand because their guitars had lost their mojo (at least to a Guild fan). Well guess what gang, they are back! This is one of the Tacoma Washington American made new guilds and its just a great guitar and also probably one the best values in the shop. The D-40 Bluegrass Jubilee is knock your socks off beautiful with reddish stained, high gloss back and sides, lovely reddish tortois binding, ebony fingerboard and bridge and here comes the good part....it's loud, woody, bassy, balanced and it plays like silk.
