The Petty Creek is John Walkers fabulous interpretation of the Gibson Nick Lucas, a legendary and sought after early Gibson LOO model but built with a dreadnaught body depth. The early ones were built light and taut and that's what these are like. It's clear and bell like with a nice rich bass, something you might expect with it's body depth.
John Walker's workmanship is flawless with every surface blocked dead flat and the finish work and especially the artistry of the sunburst doesn't get any better by anybody. You folks may not care but John and his lady Deb are also very nice people, and I sure appreciate working with people like this.
