This DS Custom is a Brazilian rosewood Slope D with the highest grade Adirondack spruce top. It has a natural finish and no toner because you wouldn't want to cover up a thing. The quartersawn Brazilian just rocks as does the whole instrument. It is a stellar guitar, as good as anything made at any price and like most world class sloped D's has a great voice and feel for the singer songwriter and for flatpicking, strumming and fingerstyle. Sloped D's have a little more midrange and pop because of their unique shape. This one also has a radiused top and larger soundhole. This instrument has rich, balanced, powerful voice and its voice is why Brazilian rosewood is so treasured especially when its like this one which is very light weight which you can hear in its voice. We have left the pickguard off this instrument so you can have your choice of colors and shape but the standard pickguard is in the case.
