He later moved to the Gibson Montana Division where he and Ren Ferguson developed the Gibson Custom Shop. One of my pals, Dean McGraw, who if you haven't heard play your life is not complete, plays with a plectrum and it's awsome in his hands, as he just revels with its great haunting sustain. I love it for "dig in" fingerstyle players like Phil Heywood (whose hands we had to pry it from the other night so he would go give his guitar lesson).
