Our consignment fee is 20%. We offer a 10% consignment fee when you purchase a new instrument. The new instrument must be paid in full at the time of purchase, the consignment instrument must cost less than the purchased instrument and the consignment instrument must be placed on consignment no later than 5 days after purchase.
Consignments may be returned to the owner after 60 days without any charges. If returned prior to the 60 day period, a $100 setup fee will be charged to the owner. This fee covers the cost of evaluating, photographing and cleaning the instrument, taking photographs, writing descriptions and recording sound samples.
The Podium assumes no liability in the event of damage or loss while at The Podium or during any shipping. Shipping insurance is unreliable and instruments can be inexpensively insured with a rider to your homeowner's or renter's insurance if you do not wish to bear this risk.
