The mics are positioned about two feet apart with the soundhole aimed between them. The input and trim levels are around detent (12 o'clock or 5). For fingerstyle playing the guitar is about two to three feet back and for strumming the guitar is about three to four feet back.
The Korg records at 16-bit uncompressed, 44.1kHz (CD quality). This audio is then transfered into Pro Tools, edited for length, and converted to an mp3. There are no effects or EQ added to the file. The room they are recorded in is not soundproof and so there is some ambient noise.
